New for Spring at 5.11 Tactical
One of the best parts of attending SHOT Show is being able to see what all the brands have planned for the upcoming year. And each year I’ve always looked forward to sharing with you what 5.11 Tactical has coming up for Spring and Fall. I mean, last year’s Maven jacket was a highlight. Sadly, with SHOT Show being cancelled so was the opportunity to get to share with you some of the things they are releasing.
Luckily, 5.11 took it virtual and while I would’ve preferred to share some of these products live from the SHOT Show floor like I usually do I’ll take what I can get. We’ve all had to adapt this past year.
I’m excited that I get to share several of their Spring 2021 lineup with ya’ll. They have SO much coming and what’s below are just some of the items they will be releasing this Spring. Some of these are available now with new colorways coming in Spring.
EveryDay Carry MultiTools
5.11 Tactical is releasing a bunch of functional multi-tools and I think they are perfect for us ladies. These are probably my favorite things I’ve seen and I’m excited for. You know I love me some EDC tools. I love that all of these can either fit right onto your keychain or with one of their carabiners that also works with their molle system. But really, you can basically hooks these to anything. I can easily see a few hooked onto my backpack.

FOR THE LADIES
I love seeing 5.11 adding more of the athleisure vibe to their women’s line up. They still have all the normal things you want for range day but being able to pair them with some cute athleisure pieces, like the Tessa Zip Up means you can still look cute while running and gunning. I’m also happy that they are adding more shorts because it’s hard to find black or dark colored shorts that are lightweight with beltloops. Trust me, I’ve looked and it’s not easy. And in the summer at an outdoor range, shorts is where it’s at.

FOR THE MEN
It’s nice to see that 5.11 continues to introduce more casual and less-tactical looking clothing for men. The husband’s been wearing the black-camo Norris sneaker non-stop since he got them and the dark coyote version is available this Spring. His experience is that the Norris sneaker runs true to size. The husband is also loving the ridge pant for when he’s hiking. The material allows for easy movement and the extra pockets provide a lot of options. I can see the trail short ending up in rotation for those summer hikes.
