— CONCEALED CARRY TIP —
Keep in mind that with any change of outfit or addition of a clothing style (to include layers) that you aren’t used to wearing that you practice dry drawing. This holds true if you change up your carry position or holster. You want to take time to practice dry drawing which is drawing your unloaded & cleared gun from your carry position in the outfit you are wearing. Get as many reps as you need in order to feel confident and comfortable that you’ll be able to efficiently draw your weapon should you need. A garment will never clear the same way twice. If you run into any obstacles drawing, evaluate what they are and see if there is an adjustment to be made. So long as you can access your firearm that is comfortable for you, then that’s what matters. In addition to dry drawing, also get some live fire practice in with your outfits at the range.
— DISCOUNT CODES —
Through my concealed carry journey, I’ve found holsters that I love and use daily and some of the brands I love have graciously given me discount codes. Hopefully this helps puts a little ease on your wallet since we all know that finding the right holster is trial and error. As an FYI, I don’t make any money off the sales from discount codes. They are merely a small way I can say thank you to all of you that support SMT. Check out my discount codes page for available codes.
