Concealed Carry for Women - Fall Outfit Guide

Whether you are new to concealed carry or have been carrying for years, there is one thing you undoubtedly will hear this time of year and that is Fall is the best season. Why is that? Well, because of the extra layers that come with the cooler temps. Not to knock anyone’s personal style but I’m sure most of you have seen that these extra layers in the world of conceal carry typically equate to a fisherman/tactical style vest or oversize garments that aren’t cute. And I think ya’ll know that just doesn’t fly over here on SMT.

We can absolutely look cute and carry.

In my Concealed Carry Outfit Guide, I’m sharing ten Fall approved outfits for work, play and the gym along with styling and carry tips that are perfect for this season. Check out the video below to see how I styled and chose to carry in these ten outfits.

CCW TIP

Keep in mind that with any change of outfit or addition of a clothing style (to include layers) that you aren’t used to wearing that you practice dry drawing. Dry drawing is practicing drawing your unloaded & cleared gun from your carry position in the outfit you are wearing. Get as many reps as you need in order to feel confident and comfortable that you’ll be able to efficiently draw your weapon should you need. If you run into any obstacles drawing, evaluate what they are, see if there is an adjustment to be made, and if not, consider changing your outfit or top so you can draw without issue. In addition to dry drawing, also get some live fire practice in with your outfits at the range.
